a reflection on the sun and it's role as life's time keeper in response to a year of COVID and quarantine
Glass Landscapes
date 2020-2021
location Castaic, California
description Glass Landscapes explores the interaction of natural light and colored glass throughout the course of a day. Glass is layered to recreate the color gradients of mountains and arranged in ways reminiscent of traditional quilting patterns. These patterns come alive as the sun makes its journey across the sky, creating shadows of new colors and shapes as time progresses. Through glass, the sun is a narrator of time, of nature, and of life.
